Some people are just dumb, it's ridiculous.

My grandparents got that kind of call a few months back, and the man was passing for my brother, telling them he was in a car accident and was really in need of money to pay the damage and he just couldn't tell my mom/dad, + he really needed help now. So my grandparents got panicked and they headed to the bank to transfer him money and whatnot.

I can't believe some people are that crazy for money.

Some person apparently called while I was at school [sister was the one who answered the phone], who claimed that my mom drove over a kid, that the kid was in the hospital and was really pitiful. That person who claimed that was a part of a gang. A gang who's "famous" for tricking people into giving them money using that method. They claimed that my mom is in the police station.. and then that person passed the phone to another member of their gang and pretended that they were the kid who got drove over. They also somehow knew my dad's and mom's full name.. The person also said that mom was in a hurry, that's why..


Seriously, it's not fucking funny to do stuff like that =.=
There are plenty of other PRODUCTIVE things to do other than that.

There's just some things you don't joke about or prank. People who are not fucked up in the head should know better. And if they are then you probably report them and give them a good smack upside the head if you can while you're at it.

I agree, if they know so much information about your family it would be a good idea to contact the authorities about it. Creepos like that will get what's coming to them.
