I've been twice. It's really pretty. Especially in the summer. I wouldn't worry too much about shorts. You'll look like a tourist no matter what so who cares. There are some places that women don't wear shorts and stuff because of the culture, but Italy is not one of those places. You're all set. You'll have a great time? Where are you going? I went to lake como and the lake district and then onto milan after some skiing the first time, and then we mixed pompei and rome together the second time.

Anything comfortable ; you'll end up doing some walking, so if you have the space I'd pack a pair of hiking shoes, or at the least sneakers ^_^
J_L_K_64 rules you.
@(you need an account to see links) yeah I'm definitely bringing sneakers, a pair of running shoes, maybe a pair of sperrys, can I wear flip flops there? Not like cheap ones but nice leather cute ones
@(you need an account to see links) I will!! I think it's like 3 nights in Rome, 6 all over Tuscany, 2 in Venice and 3 in Florence, or something like that hahaha
Yeah for sure thank you @(you need an account to see links) !! You're the best
I went in September/October and I wore tank tops and jeans, but I was hot as fuck.
I went 3 years ago, had an incredible time.
Went to Rome, Assisi, Verona, Florence, Venice, Milan and several other smaller towns. Assisi and Venice were incredible. It was kinda hot in June, and VERY touristy =/
