I want to visit the Ginza neighborhood with a group of friends! I'm a pretty big spender so it sounds like a fun shopping district to visit. It's got all the good stores xD

Haha when my friends and I planned our "dream trip to Japan" we based everything around minimizing costs of living (capsule hotel every night, living off conbini food) and transportation in order to maximize spending money LOL

    - Akihabara is a fun place if you're interested in video games and electronics. Only sad thing is that 75% of the stuff you will find there is ecchi/hentai.
    - Odaiba! Amazing island with lots of fun things to do. Oh and you can find SEGA Joypolis here!
    - If you're interested in fashion I suggest Komehyo in Shinjuku, they got a whole department store of second hand branded/designer goods.
    - Alcatraz ER. This place is just absurd. It's a hospital/prison themed restaurant. I've heard the food is bad but the absurdness of this restaurant makes the visit worth it.
    - Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography
    - Ehrm.. buy tickets for live sumo wrestling?

    Out of ideas. xD

Tokyo's aqi is only around the higher double digits or maybe even in the low 100s, and is nothing compared to Beijing's or Singapore's (the haze) aqi lately. Yes, it may seem like its still dangerous but only does that are very very sensible to pollution can actually experience the effects. fear not, you should be fine in Tokyo

My sister has been both in China and Japan and it's really not the same. I just got back from Japan a few days ago for a 3 weeks trip, and it really was the best trip I ever made.

The cat population is now larger than the human population on the island. (A 2009 article in Sankei News says that there are no pet dogs and it is basically prohibited to bring dogs onto the island.[2])
    LOL

Yeeeah I've never been into Yaoi in the slightest, haha. Sounds fascinating, though! I think Jump Festa is more for the serialized mainstream series and includes anime as well as manga. I've always wanted to go +u+

China is totally different depending on where you go. Places like Shanghai and Hong Kong are far more modernized than other places, and you'll find a ton more malls and shopping centers in those areas. Other places are more rural and undeveloped. It's a very large country. Plus Japan =/= China, it's like comparing Italy to England, lol. Two different cultures, two different languages.
