tokyo? well as a student here im almost always low on cash. but when i do have money the possibilities are endless. going to museums, going shopping with friends, eating out its pretty fun.
Im from a small island in hawaii so when I first moved here the population density kinda scared me but now im fine.

As for sushi, you can find sushi bars ANYWHERE. its just that not all of them are good, depending on the time of the year you can get food posioning. In japan there are sushi chain franchises that have $1 a plate "sushi-go-round" places that are pretty good for their price and because its famous japan wide people dont get food poisoning or that kind of stuff.
My teacher took myself and another student to a really gourmet sushi resturants. the teacher treated use but paid over $300 bucks (about 100 per person) for about 10 nigiris. tasted orgasmic though

That's so cool. Are you living there for school, or do you have family there? Wish I had the guts to move there, but my Japanese is nowhere near good enough.

Have you ever tried the little cubicle hotels before? Those look really funny.

Totally forgot about those. They're called "capsule hotels" back in middle school and high school they were always in any article online when you google searched "Japan" pretty much the epitome of Japanese culture. They are actually everywhere and it's like 30 bucks a night. Never tried it tho.

I've visited land marksc, amusement parks, historical sites and all.

Recently I went to the Tokyo metropolitan building. If any of you guys watched digimon season 3 it's the building where the d-reapers attacked.

30 dollars a night? That's cheap. Though I assume it gets pretty cramped. LOL.

If I were in Japan, I'd take advantage of the pop culture conventions they have (Jump Festaaa) but that's just me. Have you ever been to the island that's supposed to be populated by a ton of cats?
