Oh gosh guys. After reading this I like logged out of neo in chrome (What I'm on now) opened FF, deleted my cookies (I noticed the one from ck) and then logged into neo on there.
I like what infamous joe said about copying and pasting into a new tab fixing it but it just makes me overly nervous xD

...They dont have to do anything. If they wanted to, a simple PHP script can just check your cookies to see if clraik is part of them. BUT, it is impossible for them to see your past history, unless you came to neo by clicking a link from clraik, and then clraik will show up as the referrer or in your neopets cookie.

Just saying. The part of them checking if you came from clraik isnt impractical at all, and would require very little effort.

I don't necessarily mean it's hard to achieve. I just don't think they care enough and I stand by that.

They probably can see. I forget what the technical term is for it, but I know a few people who own sites said they could see like the last 10+ sites one of their customers was at. So I'm sure TNT can see if you were directed from ck.

There's a "referrer" URL sent by every browser when you click a page. It tells the neo servers the page that sent you. That's why you get the Oops you have been directed to this page from the wrong place! If you KEEP getting this error, chances are you have some security settings enabled that are not letting you play Neopets correctly. message.

Google cookies also store your web history but I believe those require some authentication before seeing the browsing history

Well, now I'm super paranoid too. Switched browsers for browsing clraik... even if they cannot or don't care to look at our browsing history, it just makes me feel better, lol.

Links clicked on clraik will now have an empty referrer field.
