now my only experiences with manga/animes are animes, soo take this with a grain of salt, but i liked deadman, although the anime was way too short and openended, i liked it nonetheless, it's about some kids and a special type of prison, and almost everything about the show is explained in the first 2?-ish episodes

so the anime is most definitely finished, but the manga is on-going...in these cases I like to catch up in the manga first then take the liberty to watch the anime. If you recommend it I will definitely bump it up in my to watch list. [: It does sound very intriguing.

oh yeah, look into it, i'm not totally positive the anime is done with, (i've only seen it on adult swim in america) it might still be going elsewhere

@(you need an account to see links), yeah, any anime i watch is dubbed, and most of that comes from adult swim, i have been kinda off and on watching girls bravo on netflix, and blood+, i prefer dubs over subs, but either works for me

one i can't remember the name, but it was about kids in 3 gangs, 2 were leaders, one was a secret leader of online gang and the headless ghost chick who rode a motorcycle that could be a horse if she wanted it to be

interesting, could I pick your brain as to why, just cos I'm curious? most people I talk to prefer subs over dubs.

ah DN was another series I couldn't really get into, and then the internet went and spoiled everything, so I feel like I will never be able to truly enjoy it. I really love another work by the duo who made DN, Bakuman lmao. soooo different xD

I've seen all of FLCL although I'm pretty sure I was too young to take it at anything other than face value lmao...read all of Inuyasha and saw a little of Ghost in the Shell. Another series I must pursue. ><

I want to watch all of FMA one day *_* a steep task but the little I have experienced of it/all the ravings about it I just have to see it lol.

i haven't seen NGE but i have heard a lot about it, seeing as how i am a huge mobile suit gundam wing fan (i have a small collection of MSIA action figures), it looks very similar


and the one i couldn't remember was durarara, with the headless ghost chick


and why do i prefer dubs over subs? mainly because i am a typical american (speech wise), i speak english and fractured spanish, if i can listen to the words being said, rather than reading them (so i can understand what's being said), it means more to me and helps me get more involved in a show/movie/whatever
