Yeah - I'm no comic book geek really, I mean I like the Batmans, the Iron Mans etc. but still, I never read any of the Superman comics or saw all of the older films.

It's just a good film man. Good action, good fight scenes, good effects. All round worth seeing

And I mean....what else is on right now in the UK? After Earth is meant to be a load of crap and that was the only alternative here

Yea, the joys of living in the UK eh? haha Did you go printworks?

I've never been a big fan on superman because he's to "perfect" apart from a rock from a planet that was destroyed

I see you have an opinion?

Nah went to cinema closer to my house, I prefer the printworks but I was on a tight timescale today had to do a few other things and couldn't be arsed getting a train into town.

I go there most of the time though it's the best one by far!

I definitely would not. They explain so little that it is just really frustrating to sit and watch. I didn't like it at all personally and I'm a huge action/superhero fan. But I didn't know enough of the backstory behind Superman so I spent 90% of the film being confused about why the hell there were so many plot holes and gaps, etc. I also just disliked the film style in general and the way it jumped through time so much.

I don't know, he's super idealistic and unwilling to let others get hurt, so I see him as emotionally a bit weak. He also only sees things in black and white which I'd consider a character flaw as well...it takes higher thinking skills to realize that sometimes things aren't black and white. I'll be interested to see how it all plays out. All in all, I liked the movie...but I thought Kevin Costner's character was a bum goblin.
