I actually think shop transferring is the best. My only freeze was between my old main and an account I bought through trading post so I'm not a fan of that method. I've seen people frozen instantly for gift option for big items so maybe for items of 10m or less. Otherwise the shop method is my favorite. Has never failed me and I've done a bunch of transfers through it.

There are certain items that you should transfer via shops, people will never search for a portable kiln through shop wiz for example, but if you are transferring a halloween pb, it's idiotic to attempt to transfer via shop
