    Unidentified network?

    Yesterday my internet randomly went down when I was playing Dragon Nest. My previously connected internet connection changed to "unidentified network" and now it won't find a valid IP address. Anyone ever had any similar issues and/or knows how to solve this?

    Edit: I tried simple stuff like restarting, ipconfig /release and /renew but haven't had any progress.

    Edit 2: ;___;

    Are there any networks in range (do you see your neighbors; just not yours?) or are none showing? Try right clicking on the internet bars icon thinger next to the clock. I'm assuming you have windows. Open network and sharing center; change adapter settings, and maybe one of them is turned off.

    None are showing. Yeah, I'm using Windows 7. I checked my settings earlier but nothing seems out of place, I'm totally lost.

    Do you have an ethernet cable and port you can try?

    Have you tried unplugging the router and/or modem? Sometimes a *hard* power off is what you need to get things back on track.

    Disabling IPv6 solved the problem. Anyway, thanks for trying to help, I appreciate it.
