How are you supposed to move your earnings to your main though?

'Securing' is basically leaving them on your shell to rot for a few weeks to months; take the shell off any programs and don't do anything on it.

Then transferring to your main could mean any method, like shop, auctions, trades, gifting. All are monitorable by TNT, though a few methods are considered safe, and others are not - depending on the context and transfer amount.
