My parents chose an uncommon alternative spelling to my name as well.
Usually seems a little confusing when you're growing up, though once you're older you usually appreciate it more.

That's actually true. I've always wanted to change my name when I was younger but I don't know now, I like it just the way it is. Besides, its really hard to change names esp when u got papers already like bank accts, license, etc.

It really is too much of a hassle to go through the process of it.

That'd be totally awkward and funny! Either way, changing names isn't a really good idea. Unless you're experiencing intense bullying because of the name then I guess it's justifiable.X)
