    How are pet prices influenced?

    I bought a UC for 25 dollars a bit ago, and I'm pretty happy, since it's higher valued (in terms of UC trading) than alot of other pets at similar prices (according to our UC values thread). I have an offer of a 75 dollar pet (which I've been told to reject), and I'm just wondering, how these prices are influenced? Is this inadvertent, or are the prices meant to be like this?

    My pet is rare-ish too, so I thought that would make it more expensive, since it would be more difficult to trade and not just be another one (for example) the 100 uc baby kougras uft every day

    Im not 100% sure, but Im sure supply and demand has a lot to do with it.
    One person may be willing to pay X amount for a pet, while another would pay, $XXX amount.
    I guess it just depends on how much they want the pet, and why.
    For re-trading? Or for a Permie?

    He's talking about trade value, like Halloween Wockies and Moehogs are ugly to us and low in demand making them cheap, but they trade high in game. I can't exactly remember the rest of the differences, but yeah, no one really knows why something is valuable for cash and not for trade. I guess most pets are purchased for keeping so trade doesn't matter, and no one wants to keep Halloween Wockies

    Then again, I'm using the thread on clraik as a guide, and I'm sure some of them are inaccurate

    Mate, trade values do not give an accurate idea of sale prices.
    I explain this in my guide.

    Calm down lol... I clearly don't have an issue, if anything, I'm greatful. I'm just asking what other factors influence this. I'm just saying that no one's perfect, and that it's foolish for me to assume that your prices guide is 100% accurate.

    I am calm. I should probably use more smilies for other peoples benefit!
    But to answer your question;
    Supply and demand brah, plain and simple.
    Not sure if you're familiar with NC trading but if you are, you know how those values are determined.
    That's how my guide also works.

    \wrong thread.

    People always have a huge influence on prices, Demand vs supply.
