Hackers find exploits in the site. There is no way to protect against those, unless you're a hacker God, work for neopets yourself, and decide to make the site bulletproof.

People give them alot more credit than they deserve , if they banned u purely for using multiple accounts anyone using a shared ip/vpn/proxy would get banned. They may of back in the day when everyone was on 56k (new ip every connection) but not now days for sure.

Thanks for the responses, everyone. So my dilemma is.. I've got a "guild account" with some stuff on it. It doesn't share an email with my main, but it does share a password, birthdate, and a few trades. How do I go about separating the accounts? If I stop logging into one of the accounts on my IP, will it eventually clear and I'll be able to use it as a second main?

Also, isn't that a huge hassle for all of you that have a million accounts? You've got to change a million passwords every month..

I think those with a million accounts have their millions tucked away on accounts that look like nothing so they don't have to change all the passwords.

I have my main and two sides I deal with. I have a shell I keep pets on, and another account I'm securing. that's about it lol

I have more than the allowed amount of accounts, but mostly because I just like owning too many pets or leading a different neo-life on that account doing something different than I do on my main. The times before last when the faerie quests events were happening, I made loads of accounts just to try and get a FFQ - it was a royal pain logging in daily to ask for a quest and then get a lame one most of the time but I did manage to get a few FFQs in the end which was nice. I'm surprised they didn't get frozen because I knew nothing about the usefulness of proxies and I made all the accounts have very similar names (only different by a few numbers) and they all shared the same email...they're all still not frozen and I haven't logged in forever. Forgot the email I made for them too...but they're all useless anyway.

I just made 4 new accounts and i already had 3, just got back into Neopets.

The 4 new accounts are really only for stock collecting, but i build them up to look like a noobish main accounts.

My old main was banned for reasons unknown. (i believe refreshing over and over to force random events, but I messaged them 15 times for no response)
That or because I had previously cheated on the last 2.

I don't actively play any more but I do have a few "main" accounts that I log regularly.

i'm currently sitting on 6 accounts with no real main as of yet, im in the process of having more and more accounts im greedy ill stop though once i hit 10billion NPs in one account and retire lol.
