Been there, "sorta". Sold an account with ~1.5 billion for a fairly cheap price to a member here a while back. Month later account was hacked and 100% confident the buyer wasn't yanking my chain with some good evidence from investigation on my own part. Actually hacked by a user here that's not here anymore. Hard news but it's just part of the game. I've become accepting of it the 2 times that it has happened to my own accounts. For those events what worked best for me was handling the situation as positively as possible. Realized the importance of the account wasn't there (other than fun memories) and it helped push me to high levels of productivity in advancing my career once I quit neopets for good. The one time I started up again before this, I just played casually and actually enjoyed the time played even more (though was hacked again).
If it helps, I've personally seen accounts unfrozen for scamming before if that's how the hacker secured (froze) the account so anything is possible.
Don't even try to get you acc back by sending TNT a ticket.
