It was the same way for me on Tumblr. I'm a visual learner myself and I suppose that means I'm also more likely to recall things using visual memetics. For me, the most terrible thing was when someone on Tumblr changed their username and their avatar at the same time. People like that deserve to be sent to jail I swear
And if they really wanted to mess with me, they'd change their whole tumblr layout as well. scream
How about when AcidicDream changed to @(you need an account to see links) that one really messed with my head but yes, I tend to look at the avatar to know who I'm talking too.
LOL I knew @(you need an account to see links) was AcidicDream only because she'd changed her signature a bit earlier to another (awesome) photoset, I think. Probably from Tumblr, 500 px width. Tumblr <3.
When people change their avatar it angers me.
