    Guide: How to send money through PayPal via "Friends and Family" option


    Q:Why do people use this option?
    A: It eliminates the merchant fees that occur for the seller with the "Goods and Services" option.

    Now, let's move on to how you would send money through the Family and Friends Option.

    1. Log in to your PayPal/create a PayPal account. Select the "Send & Request" tab at the top of the screen.

    2. Now select the "Send money to friends and family" button on the left.
      (you need an account to see links)

    3. Enter the name or e-mail of the person you're buying/sending money to.
      (you need an account to see links)

    4. Enter the amount you want to send and press continue.
      (I entered $1.00)

    5. Verify the amount you want to send and press "Send Money Now".

    This is standard method in the cheating community, to prevent chargebacks. That's more the reason than fee avoidance. That's why it's important to check the itrader feedback of people before you trade with them. We also have a dispute process, and follow up with any accusations of scamming. We protect our trading community and keep it as clean as humanly possible.
