I'm sure they have a knockoff of some sort in Straya, just under a different name. Possibly using a Strayan pun.

Like "Kangaroo Dongs" or something of the sort.

So when you do taste a Twinkie, you'll say,

"Damn, wtf! These are just Kangaroo Dongs!
I've had Kangaroo Dongs my whole life! Nothing special.
Can't believe I wasted all this time waiting when I could just be munching on Kangaroo Dongs."

Highly processed, extra sweet yellow sponge cake + sweet, extra fattening cream icing filling.
You could probably make it yourself.
But that's hardly the point. Because they're still not Twinkies.
Only Twinkies can be Twinkies.

ps. I love doing Tim Tam Slams.
I also tried doing it with Oreos, Kit Kats, and Crunchie chocolate bars, but they don't work. I almost choked on a Crunchie trying to.

ps2. I have an unopened pack of Tim Tams in my drawer that expired 2 years ago. Safe to eat?

I've never tasted them, but on my country there's a sweet really similar that a brand here sells.. probably a copy LOL
