couldn't you just casually nm the person from a shell or something and ask them if they have any ~autos~ or whatever/lurk their account to see if they have any pets they are seeking. then just buy that pet from someone here and trade yourself?

oh ouch, i know that feeling. i once chased a pet through like three different owners- overoffering each time cause i wanted the name so bad- before it finally stopped at a "permanent" home and its been sitting there for almost a year now, completely inactive. some traders just want to watch the world burn.
