    I wish I had more experience with building my own systems, it would certainly help me run my games better on the highest anti-alias settings. I can't really comment on yours since I have no idea x) But congrats on your new build! What sorts of games have you tested on it already?

    Looks decent to me, pretty close to what I have on my desktop, my laptop is more powerful. Eh, I don't know how much you're spending on the processor specifically, but Idk, I'd upgrade it to a quad

    I've actually got two 16gb sticks but I didn't realize my motherboard would only pick up ten, big mistake

    The first bottleneck of a gaming rig is the video card.
    The second is the processor.

    I don't know what games you're running, but it should be struggling on high settings for current games.

    Your VC is near entry-level, I would try to bump it to mid-range at least. a Mid-range GeForce 500 series is still better than an entry-level 600 series;
    often the series upgrades are incremental, with some generations just rebadges of idenitcal VCs.

    Processors don't have as nearly a big role in gaming performance as VCs, but are still the #2.
    I would advise going to a current gen quad-core if you can afford it. Doesn't have to have a high clockspeed at factory settings, just newer (and possibly lower voltage/TDP if you want some energy savings).

    ---

    Current games running at high settings only need 8 GB, anything over is in excess and not beneficial at present unless you do a lot of CADing.

    With that build, are you able to run Skyrim in Ultra mode at 60 ish fps? My framerate used to drop really low once I switched to Ultra, it used to bother me a lot since I liked to record my gameplay in high def.
