None of my schools ever had a detention system, strangely enough. All we had was a detention lunch table that kids would have to go to if they were caught sitting at the wrong table, which was really stupid. What do they usually force you to do in detention? :o
Oh, I see. They never forced us to stay after-school for missing homework, they'd just tell us to bring it in the next day or risk lowering our report card grade in the class.
