Trying to sell items on reseller's boards gets superrrrrrr boring. So Like when you happen to AB or come upon a expensive item what do you do with it? If i have something that I want over 800k for I have absolutely no idea what to do. Sometimes I'll auction the stuff and promote it or I'll just auction it and leave it.. but any advice?

That's all I do. Create a board saying Quick-sale or Resellers take a look at this, etc. then bump the shit out of it.

It depends on how badly I need the NPs. If I need NP now, I've been known to go down to 65-75%. If I don't care about NPs, I'll simply relist the trade/auction several times over the course of a week.
That's the way go about it as well. Just create a topic to either sell at reseller price or put it up for a fun auction. Most HTS items are never sold just by having it on the tp current price.
I'm lazy...I just let it rot on the TP for awhile, and usually within a week, I get what I want for it.
I don't use the boards at all.
I just put it on auctions for 2 hours, and takes me 5 attempts at the worst of the cases.
If it's worth 10M, I let it go for 9.7, 9.5 if I really want the pure.
Sometimes I don't care to lose 200-500K since pure is harder to get than items. You can get it back for the same price you sold it, but you'll most likely never get what you paid for it.
Works pretty much like real life, but at neopets is easier to get profit
