Curious question: do any of you look up to certain users on Neopets? (by "look up" I mean a variation of "kiss up")
Example: When marymao was frozen, the entire neoboards knew within 4 hours. A bunch of strangers were posting 'Sorry to hear, gl' and condolences. Then when she's unfrozen, everyone wishes her congratulations again.
I find it interesting that
1. It takes the 'famous' users 8 days to get unfrozen, whereas the average is at least a month
2. Neo-popularity is still a thing on the boards, apparently
I mention this because years ago, I was also wrapped around the whole neo-popularity thing. But it has died out a lot since.
