I watched it prior to BSG. I'm enraged that it ended. But all of the good series are cut before their time I suppose.

I don't think a lot of TV executives understand science fiction in general. Firefly, for example - it's like the poster child of premature sci-fi cancellations. But in this case it was Syfy that canceled Caprica, which is incredibly stupid because Syfy rarely has good shows of its own. They have like a bazillion terribly animated giant-animal-versus-man B movies, I honestly don't see how Caprica's "ratings were low" compared to those. ~_~
