I was onsite NC trading, and after finding a potential trader for a stupid 2 caps worth NC item, they never sent me my item after I sent them theirs.
Got them frozen right after, but I can't believe people would scam for 1-2$ NC worth. /facepalm
Some people need the money, y'know.
$2 can buy an engagement ring from a capsule vending machine, or 2 chocolate bars on sale - a day's meal.

Everybody knows how people find obscure items that there aren't very many of, like TCGs on the shop wizard, when there are only like 5 of them, they all get bought up and are now suddenly 5-200 million NP on the Trading Post. When I was very young (I'm 19 now I was probably like 8 or 9) I was doing Illusen Quest, and with no help at all and very little NP, probably less than 100,000 because I really can't even imagine that I had even that much but I managed to get a Honey Potion. I guess it was worth about 500K at the time, and I got offered a TCG..I think it was a hannah from the pirate caves tcg. I also had a couple pure offers and I'm pretty sure I remember a pure offer of like 550k.. But it was listed as being worth 5 million or so on the trading post, I wasn't going to accept because I was going to be nice and reject when I realized they were over-offering. My dumbass brother says, "fuck them, accept it and run with that deal!!!" so I excitedly accept. After weeks of trying to sell the damn thing I guess I finally understood that I had been taken. So I decided to take someone else..eye for an eye. I ended up trading the ridiculously inflated tcg (i think they were even starting to pop up on the shop wizard again by that time) for an ETS worth like 800k..so I really ended up getting a good deal out of it, but I do remember being so angry and flabberghasted that someone would scam you on Neopets xD
