How would you amass a fortune?

Greetings to the Clraik community!
I've been a lurker for some time, not into Neo very much, not into this site. It's still a bit of a shock for me to see all this behind the scenes work.

Anyways. It's pretty clear we're all greedy little blighters. Some more than others, some more skilled. I'm neither (really!). But I have this damn goal, and I'm wondering whether to pursue it or drop it. I've returned to Neo, and surprise surprise, it wasn't hacked after 'complacent' years of living in the real world. So I'd like to try, without it consuming my time, a shot at 20 billion neopoints.

Has this been done? How would you do it? How are you doing it (and for how long?)?

1. Become a skilled programmer or hacker to farm/steal/make what you want.
2. Get a day job and spend furiously like a nutjob, paying aforementioned hackers and programmers.

I don't think the wealthiest legit players (like munsterpoo) ever had a total near 20b.

It is, however, possible to have 20b spread out over many accounts. But trying to cram 20b into 1 account is suicide.

That's the thing isn't it? You'd need to juggle perhaps forty accounts.

I have to wonder how many Nps are in circulation at a given point. Or how many SuAPs- you'd need around 15 to yourself to call it quits with that goal.

Of course, not all of it need be pure: it's some 15 SuAP to yourself, and you're there. One has to wonder how many Nps are in circulation at a given point. Or how many SuAPs.
