    i live in the middle of the u.s. and i feel like its a lot of hassle for normally not a ton of money, although it does help to really start to unload on all the items and things you no longer want yet you dont want to just throw them away. Just takes a lot of time to organize everything and advertize to just have it for a few days, i doubt i do them in the future

    My mom used to take me on yard sales all the time. They're really good for finding antiques and little objects to decorate your house with that have decent quality. I also have a jacket from a yard sale that's as good as new, and people compliment me on it all the time. x)

    Money itself has no intrinsic value, but it acts as a storage of value for trades. You use time to work and earn money, so it collectively inherits time as well. So it is valuable for living and keeping society in check, like Mod said
