Family guy. The new simpsons isn't funny anymore

The new Simpsons isn't as funny, but Family Guy never has been.

Simpsons at least tries to hold onto some sense of humour versus relying completely upon stereotypes. Family Guy just tries to hard to do the 'edgy'.

I like how Groening incorporates his initials into Homer's head (and other aspects of his characters!). Also enjoy that the (you need an account to see links) on Neopets is a total Homer-reference.
If I had to choose between watching one show or the other on television, I would pick the Simpsons.

Family guy, for sure. I love the political/religious humor and just the overall blatant fact that Seth doesn't care what other people think.

But Family Guy beats the newer Simpsons.
