The Simpsons vs Family Guy

What makes this so difficult is trying to compare comedy from ultimately two different time eras. The 90's would crown the simpsons hands down. More in this age though, Family Guy's comedy wins because it is more modern comedy.

I'm only 20 but I consider the Simpsons more enjoyable than Family Guy - I find the latter's comedy a little too… Not even sure what the word is. Too "out there", for lack of a better phrase?

Family Guy is a hoot I don't watch much The Simpsons although I enjoy both I'd still have to say Family Guy gets my vote overall.

Simpsons was amazing in the 90s, and it is still alright, but right now I prefer Family Guy.

Definitely The Simpsons, Family Guy tries too hard to be 'edgy' in my opinion and relies on taking the shit out of people for their jokes while The Simpsons has always had that real feel-good kind of humor anyone can enjoy.

I have to go with the Simpsons. At the end of each episode you know Marge & Homer love each other. The strong bond is something to admire these days. Maybe i'm a sucker for romance but values are still important. <3.
