Sadly this is me as well. Some of the guides too are just not good enough where I can also understand so any help would be appreciated folks~
I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy,
the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.J A G E R

hmm well this isn't good
I have beaten Neoquest II on Evil and am in the process of doing it on InSaNe. I feel like I have a decent understanding of the game, so feel free to ask me questions here. I haven't even attempted playing Neoquest I though.
Wasn't there a NQ player? was that removed?
I know I'm in a cheating community but seriously, you guys should play them without autoplayers. You'll really have some fun.
Are you talking legit or illegit?
What I did was use the neoquest II autotrainer gm script (it's on userscripts.org) and would just leave it running while I was away so my characters were constantly overleveled. xD then made Rohan a tank and only leveled up damage output and defense, for mipsy i only leveled up her one spell and sheilds, for tailina (or however her name is spelled) only leveled up multiple arrows, and for velm only leveled up group healing. that was the easiest way for me, as long as I stayed at least 10 levels above what everything else was i could pretty much get through any battle (including bosses) without losing that much hp. its still a bitch though. it also helps to look at maps as you play so you don't waste time walking around into dead ends.
its pretty much endless grinding. idk if neoquest 1 is any different, i've yet to start because i'm still burned out from the second one.
I use this: (you need an account to see links)
Click guides and use StrageFire420s guide, its the one I used, only took a couple of days to do it, this guide makes it simple
There are some scripts on UserScripts that do the battling for you for NQ I, I found them to be efficient enough, all you have to do at that point is go to where you start building experience and AFK for awhile until you've capped your XP for the level of monsters in that area, kill boss for that area, rinse repeat at a new area.
