For a second I thought those guys were being serious, but the ending suggests they were just trying to illustrate how backwards some of the discussions get on fundamentalist forums since they didn't write the dialogue themselves, heheh. Still, the fact that what they were saying was written by people who actually believe those things is pretty outrageous. Some of it was comically hypocritical too - "out of touch with reality", "believing anything" someone tells them? Err.
And people are perfectly capable of being morally righteous without the need to fear some entity will smite them from the heavens otherwise. Being an atheist doesn't make anyone a beacon of societal destruction, LOL.
