That V838 Monocerotis thing scared the crap outta me, something so big and pink... that can't be right.

Your fear seems pretty rational to me, actually. It's kind of a scary thought.. we're only so tiny.

you should smoke less weed. just saying, also the planets may be bigger but the densities are not the same. we have much more mass then other planets, and other planets take up more space because they are gas.

I don't really understand why this is terrifying? We're tiny, insignificant, and not alone. That's pretty clear.

Spitfire, I can understand your fears and they're perfectly normal. If you're having troubling dreams while you're sleeping, it could be that you're not feeling well physically or there's some situation going on in your life that your mind is trying to work out. If your fears are something you're feeling when you're awake, try redirecting your attention and focus on to other things that make you feel happy, safe and comfortable. Even a warm bubble bath or a walk in the sunshine helps to sooth the soul. As for our solar system, our insulated planet is ideally positioned at exactly the right distance from the sun with the outer gaseous planets protecting us from rogue asteroids and meteors, making for a highly precisioned and perfectly secure and balanced cosmos. And you, Spitfire, are a very large point of light among many other large points of light within the framework of infinity. So, realistically speaking, you have nothing, nothing at all, to fear. Sleep well tonight.
