Any book-readers here? You're in for a world of hurt... Geez, but I can't wait!

My hubby got me the very first book a while ago, but tbh I didn't start reading it yet. (Just because I started reading a shitload of new books right before he got me that one, so I'm not finished with some of the other ones yet...) I want to read it, though, and I probably will once S3 starts. Are the books better than the show?

Well, yes. There are a few certain elements I like better in the show, though, like how they chose to portray Shae. Still, i think the books have a lot more to offer. Really every fan should enjoy both!

But if you don't have a lot of time to read, you should definitely try out listening to the audiobooks. While the narrator Roy Dotrice isn't so good at voicing the women, his voice really gives the right feel to the story. He actually was in two episodes of GoT in season two!

OH, so the first episode of Season 3 starts today?
I thought that I had missed the first few episodes of Season 3!
But if it starts today, I'm gonna go search for it and record that shit!

First episode is Valar Dohaeris. On right now. Valar Dohaeris means "all men must serve" in high valerian.

i am a huge fan, the first episode was great. Can't wait for tomorrows episode.

Watched the first episode of S3 last Monday, didn't understand crap of it but I'll watch the second one tomorrow anyway and try and catch up with the first two seasons in the meantime. Way to watch a tv show. XD
