    Game of Thrones S3

The third season of the epic fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones will premiere in the United States and Canada on March 31, 2013 on HBO.[1] The season will premiere internationally on April 1 in the United Kingdom on Sky Atlantic[2] and in the Netherlands on HBO Netherlands.[3]

I'm so thrilled! Who else cannot wait for the series to return?

Can't wait for it either! Feels like it's been so long.

Hell yes!!, i was a bit disappointed at the battle of backwaters for the finale of Season 2, looked like the whole army consisted of 30 men haha, but otherwise im hoping the battle scenes are better this time around. Otherwise i wont be expecting any less from the awesome storyline.

I'm hoping Season 3 brings back everything that I loved about the first season.
I just got the boxed set of Season 2 the other day, finished it in like.. 2 days, and was wondering wtf happened.
I feel like nothing progressed anywhere at all in season two. It took FOREVER, for pretty much nothing to happen. I was very disappointed.
I was hoping for more action and there just wasn't anything except for like.. the very last episode.

Hopefully season 3 brings the series back on track.

Any book-readers here? You're in for a world of hurt... Geez, but I can't wait!

My hubby got me the very first book a while ago, but tbh I didn't start reading it yet. (Just because I started reading a shitload of new books right before he got me that one, so I'm not finished with some of the other ones yet...) I want to read it, though, and I probably will once S3 starts. Are the books better than the show?

Well, yes. There are a few certain elements I like better in the show, though, like how they chose to portray Shae. Still, i think the books have a lot more to offer. Really every fan should enjoy both!

But if you don't have a lot of time to read, you should definitely try out listening to the audiobooks. While the narrator Roy Dotrice isn't so good at voicing the women, his voice really gives the right feel to the story. He actually was in two episodes of GoT in season two!

I'll trust your judgement, and I'm even more excited to start reading now. I didn't know they made audiobooks as well; I'll definitely check those out too sometime!

Oh, btw... Only one more day until S3 starts!
