Well, rude people come from all walks of life.
Religion can play a tiny role in it, but my neighbors are of that religion, and our familes are close. ^_^

Put aside the terrorist thing, I have a few Muslim friends and id like to think im close to them but they all have such retarded families
Ive known this girl for about two years and she isnt allowed to read novels because apparently its 'Haram'
She got caught reading Harry Potter when she was 14 so her dad shamed her in front of a giant crowd.
I know this other girl had to leave her home just so she could join university because her parents didnt want her to, they wanted her to get married at 17.
Thats a cultural issue, I get that, but it still stems from religious beliefs.
And thats not fucking normal.

A set of rules/customs that socially accepted and followed for a long time and passed down generation to generation.
And what is/was socially accepted?
Whatever religion the people of a particular place followed because that was/is the law...
So yes, it does stem from religious beliefs.
Think about it;
Why is it considered haraam for a little girl to read Harry Potter?
Will it promote witchcraft?
Will it bring about the devil?
Isnt this ideology directly from the Qu'Ran?
Why is it that my friend isnt allowed to attend University without her parents disowning her?
Gotta wonder where they get this sense of belief what their daughter isnt worthy to be anything more than a housewife at the age of 17.
Im not having a go at the religion yet, Im seriously avoiding bashing Islam, im having a go at the people that follow it - people that I personally know.
But I disagree with this shit, and I disagree with all religions.
Because in theory, religion itself is meant to be good and holy and just but the reality is, it restricts human development.
