Well my iphone 3gs is on its last legs. My first issue was only about 12 months after getting the damn thing on contract. This was a issue with my sound (or lack of) the iphone would only play sound with the headphones. This included ringtones , so i did not know when anyone rang me unless i felt it vibrate...
Then yesterday I wake up and look at my phone , it has a pure white screen. After some googling and trying the normal things I opened the phone up and found damage to one of the ribbon cables from the iphone screen to the logic board. It was damaged in both places....
This means replacing the logic board (�60) and maybe the screen to (�20) and then for a new bottom part with speaker ect is another �20... Hardly worth it when I have only 3 months contact left and can buy it out for �90 and have a early upgrade.
