    Paypal limited... Bank account blocked...

Well, so I make a payment via PayPal... LIMITED!

Great... Just what I need, better unlimit it.

Try to log into HSBC bank account to check details... ACCOUNT LOCKED!

    Oh what fun!

Probably logging in infrequently from China. But paypal wants me to enter my full account number which ends with 34... They all end with 34, I have no idea which one it is. ><

And not being able to get my account lists from my internet banking isn't helping either.

34...do you have a thing for living and dying?

I guess the only way out is a call to PP, HSBC, or a trip to HSBC.

Better than guessing which account you linked, if you have a lot, and getting locked out from failed attempts.

What does 34 have to do with death?

Funny story that... I did get totally lock out of PayPal completely. Even though later I found that I used the correct number.

A trip to HSBC would also require a plane trip of about 14 hours. =[
Unless they can fix Australian accounts from Hong Kong on Sundays, where I'll be going this weekend - I don't like those chances.

Anyway, all is fixed up now...

    Account Verification:
HSBC: What is your address? erm... In Australia, Hong Kong, or China? Which city in Australia? <== don't move too often!
HSBC: What is your phone number? No idea, I forgot that phone number years ago
HSBC: Tell me 1 recent transaction you've made on any account. erm, I haven't used the account in maybe a year, there are no recent transactions
HSBC: How much money do you have in any of your accounts? errr, one or two are probably empty

Apparently all my bank accounts and cards were frozen for inactivity - more than a year - awww

    PayPal - So easy...
    PP: What is your name?
    Me: X Y
PP: May I call you X?
    Me: Sure
PP: What is your phone number?
Me: I have no idea, let me check in my account? Wait, I was logged out while waiting, let me log in again
    PP: Sure
Me: Oh, it wont let me log in without my card number, which is part of the problem
PP: Do you have access to the email address?
    Me: Yes
PP: Let me send you an email, click the address and enter the 5 pin number I tell you.
    Me: Ok.. *follows instructions*
    Me: Ok, done
PP: Did you make payment X of $Y to Z?
    Me: Yes
PP: Ok, I will allow the payment
    Me: Ok
PP: Ok, I have unrestricted your account
    Me: Thank you very much
    PP: *mannerisms*

Wow, I've never had being unlimited being so easy and fast.
