Tell the bitch to join neopets, lets get her some ubber amazing pets and then *SQUISH HER* rawrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Im in 8th grade, and I really want to be in AP gov next year, because its the only AP you can take in 9th grade. So Ive been really nice to her, saying "hi" whenever i see her, and asking how she is and after a semester of sucking up to her, im not in AP gov. She wont recommend me. I have all the things needed (90.0+ average in SS, Good writing/thinking skills). Is it possible she wont recommend me(for the AP) because I have an absence record of 9 days?
SS= Social Studies

I have 16 days absent already this year and I get recommended for everything generally. Just be flat with the teacher and ask. Teachers like kids who go out of their way to try and get into a class. If you really want in, pull your teacher aside and be like "I have this this and this, what else do I need for the recommendation?" You will get constructive criticism and will probably get your recommendation.
A teacher of mine once told me "I don't have nearly enough time in my day to pick and choose between all these kids about whom I like and who I don't"
And at the end of the day, it is only an AP course. There are worse things in life than Honors, I took alot of Honors courses and I've gotten 25k in scholarships and climbing.
You are having trouble getting into an AP class and you are already thinking "Harvard"? My friend, I wish you the best. let me know when reality hits.
