I've heard of them, seems pretty shady but interesting.

I'm interested in using this too. It's got the huge advantage of not (or barely) having any fees attached.
So I'm offering neopets stuff that can be paid for using bitcoins.

Last I checked they made mining for bitcoins less profitable.. so kinda missed the boat on that one, not like I want to have a giant beast of a computer with 50+ Graphics Cards

Yeah and you need specific cpus ect.

The best way is to infect people with a botnet that you control and force there pcs to mine for you. Even then its a hard task , mineing will use alot of resources assuming they even have good enough hardware to mine with. Generally it would be easier to just steal there paypal/credit card info in ur virus instead I would of thought...

Its all shady from what I have read though it actually cost more to run a legit single server mineing in electricity than you will make back. The miners think the prices will inflate because surely no one will sell if its not worth there electricity cost right? But then the hackers come in and fuck all that up.... Lol. The only people profiting from what I can see is the hackers..

What about just using the in general? I don't need to mine them nor do I particularly care about that at this point.

It would take more than +rep but it can be done:

    About:

    Peer 2 peer connection
    Fully Undetected
Comminicates with webserver but also if the server is down switches to p2p mode , there is no central point to take down in p2p mode
    Rsa Encrypted network traffic
Automatic spreading to usb drives (bypasses removal of autorun.inf)
Allows back door for installing later .exe files
Allows communication via the persons connection , kind of like a proxy. This lets you edit there router settings and open port forwarding (allowing you to use any infected pc as a central C+C server)

    Big $$ for that
