cPanel is actually pretty easy to use. You shouldn't need it for much. Use FTP for your file editing and use the cPanel mysql for databases.

You won't need it for much of anything else.
I use fatcow.com they use a custom panel.

What do you think is the most user friendly host? Oh and if I decide to use (you need an account to see links) for hosting, the server will be in canada right? My target audience is actually all the way in asia, does it affect anything? Sorry I'm a little noob
