So i got a call from a new Apple store asking me to come in on friday 3pm (UK time)
I'm so nervous im shaking xD! I heard its realy hard to get accepted there
I have to demonstrate on how to use an iphone :p the way they make it sound sounds easy but when im there its like oh god what am i doing?
I haven't even had 1 proper job yet ive had work experiences but im scared i'll mess up like i did when i had a interview with Comet before they closed down xD
Seriously, 10 minutes early is STILL late to Apple xD
I'd make sure you dressed nicely and not just nicely, make sure your clothes FIT. I hate seeing people going to interviews in a suit or dress up clothes that they borrowed and they still look unprofessional because it isn't a proper fit :/
Relax, it's not as difficult as you make it to be.
Just be normal, show the manager/hiring interviewer respect as you would customers, be spontaneous. Not much more to it (aside from the typical Apple proficiency).
Remember, this is still just a retail job, where most applicants are young students. Along with restaurant jobs, they don't expect you to have a deep skillset, just enthusiasm and ability to showcase their product - and pay you "competitively" in return.
A few years later, when you're dressing up for your first corporate or specialist job interview, you'll be laughing back at this experience; because that's when you'll need the technical skillset, relevant references, and possibly a portfolio history (just to put things in perspective, )
Practice make's perfect~
Do it at home.. Make a youtube video.. and then give us the link~
Nah you don't got to do that..~
It's hard to get a job there man!!
Good luck!!
Make yourself appear to be an asset. Someone who can help the company.
Also if your basically doing a test on the phone then your probally going to be working with people. So be a people person. Talk alot but not too much ya know. Eye contact is important too
