one thing doesn't make sense about transferring items

ok so i'm reading a guide on a different forum to spice up my ab life and it says this: "... they buy with little to no delay, then transfer, self freeze, and transfer until the item is secured."
in fact a lot of guides pretty much repeat this concept. What stops TNT from going "okay he sent it to this account, then sent it to this one then this one then this one and it's on this one now so freeze him" ? If they can bring up account details to check against what we tell them when we're trying to unfreeze an account, what stops them from freezing fulanito who transferred a ttear across 15 shells?

@(you need an account to see links) Because TNT is lazy, pretty much. That's the most you can really count on when transferring big items anyway, since it's all been logged.

It doesn't stop them, but they may get tired of chasing it, but regardless if you freeze and account or not, they can still see where the item goes. It's basically a matter if they wish to persue it or not.

I would love to be paid to track down people's stolen items, but unfortunately, it'd mean we'd lose half of the BD chat.

Besides, they've probably got bigger fish to fry than a runaway TTear; people are iced daily and will grab their pitchforks when they don't get ticket responses in the first 2 days.

Can monitors work from home or they have to work on location? One of us should become a monitor and be in cahoots with the mods.

They can work from home, it's why people are iced over weekends, holidays, and in the middle of the night.

Though the thought of someone getting their kicks freezing people by sitting alone in the office at 3 am on a Saturday night makes me lol.

If I had a new pitchfork for every day my ticket hadn't been answered...

I'd have a lot of pitchforks.

Wouldn't it be cool though if one of us became a monitor and worked closely with the mods here to protect the bigger purchases. If it's not done right whoever becomes the monitor might have to explain on their next job interview why they got fired but still
