This will be the most accurate item database of its kind made entirely for clraik and powered by both my own np gen servers and Joes data from a upcoming bot hes working on.
Of course it will be better than whats already out there in terms of the way it runs , but is there anything else you are specifically looking for in a item db that you feel current databases are missing?

I don't wanna put out any of my main ideas out there just to keep them confidential at the moment, but one idea of mine is to incorporate our iTrader system into having an option for the seller/buyer as to what item they bought/sold here that is on Neopets. This info will be sent to the database and we can actually determine if an item is easy to sell/hard to sell on the forum.
Bitches love statistics.

Since we sell them as items basically I'd love if UCs were included in the database

I don't quite understand what purpose a data base would serve that Jellyneo's doesn't already cover. There are plenty of ETS items such as codestones that you would never see sold here so I'm guessing all you would see would be a mix of avatar items, anagram swords, draik or krawk mps/eggs, and assorted paint brushes. I'd also be hesitant to have a tracking system that knows exactly what we bought and sold here.
In terms of tracking UC's, the name of each one plays a huge role in price as well as how much the buyer wants a particular one. In addition there are not a ton of UCs (as compared to items that can be bought with NPs on site) out there so any statistics made would not have enough data to be more useful than a baseline.

Indeed I can do a Item database so much better than its done right now I know I can make it alot more accurate and upto date.
On a personal level having a item database helps me , my bot loads the database into itself on load. My servers therefore have a entire database that they do not need to contact a server to get info for. It will make my bots very powerful.
how would you keep it more up to date than JN though? don't they have a team of people who update their prices regularly?
Why have a team when I can run 300 bots on a server doing it automatically 24/7 and also keep time stamps to make sure any item that has not been checked in X time gets a recheck and updated.
That way where possible info will be provided by my or joes bots. But when no data has come in for the particular item in X time we can launch a refresh anyway.
