If you would skim this page over, most parents do not correctly buckle their child in their car seat correctly, they have expired seats, or flip their seats at a year old, all of which are deadly. I've noticed a few parents here and wanted to spread awareness on car seat safety and extended rear facing (may even rear face your child to age 4 depending on the seat). Also, the spine doesn't ossify till 4-6 years of age and forward facing your child too soon may internally decapitate them.
I know a parent who CONSTANTLY has her babies chest restraint in the wrong position and the straps twisted.
Makes me so nervous, but she clearly has no regard toward it, no matter how many times I mention it.
Useful post!
Glad to see fellow parents/parents-to-be helping eachother out!
Thank you! The first few months of my daughter's life I didn't know hardly anything about it, luckily I didn't have her in the seat horribly but I'm glad a facebook friend corrected me. I didn't want to write a bunch of facts out and so hope you guys appreciate pictures.
Canada started shipping out the foonfs and getting my kiddo one, it's like the car seat porn of seats.
