    Why are Neggs valuable?

I don't understand what function they perform... the neggs at the neggery are useless and sell for maybe 1/4 of the value of the negg points needed to get them. Dubloons can buy things at the cove and other places and codestones are used for training, but neggs?

Its a really quick way to train once you really get to higher stats. You can feed everytime your pet is hungry versus waiting 12 hours to manually train in academies.

Well you can build them and snipe them? And like if your short 10 neggs you can buy smaller negg worths to compensate. I dont know. If you are really training via the negg method, you probably dont have an neo income dilemma XD

The majority of Neggs at the Neggery are indeed overpriced and useless, but there are a select few offered there that offer immediate, permanent stat boosts, maybe take a look at a Neggery guide to see which.

The most popular is the Armoured Negg, which costs 16 tokens (~35k now), for +1 def. At mid-levels of pet training (200+ def), this isn't just faster, but even cheaper than codestone training on average.

The other stat-increaser neggs are mostly replaced by cheaper stat-potions and such now, but there are still a few worth looking into. And since everyone here is loaded, Neggs like the Cool Negg (while expensive), will boost your pet stats faster than anything.

eg. Cool Negg effect - 1-2 level, 1-3 total HP, 1-3 agility, and 1-3 strength

As for the Neggs you trade into the Neggery (the one worth tokens), the cheap/low-token ones are fairly priced and common enough to get anywhere, so they're worth trading in (eg. Purple, Icy). The rarer ones worth more tokens, you should hang onto - they're more collectable items and you'd take a big hit trading them in (eg. Easter, Fish).

Thanks for the explanation, I didn't know that training at higher levels became expensive to the point that 45k for 1-2 defense points is a better deal than codestones.

Once you get to a certain point you are using around 5+ codestones to train, and 8+hours for one course. If you get unluck with those codestones and end up with like 5 Lu Codestones then you will spend roughly 45k-50k for 1 Defence point vs the 35k for 1 defence point every 1-2 hours as long as you keep your pet hungry. Then you will get to the point where Snegging will be more efficient to train after a certain level, unless you don't mind waiting a day per course.
