    Windows 8 help!!

I need someone with experience with windows 8, as my new notebook came with it and it's AWFUL.
Tried to google but nothing appears, and this is driving me crazy, idk if it's a W8 config/feature/whatever or my notebook is broken (it came with the cd reader broken, so idk.)
Everytime i press one key, for example, arrow keys for scrolling a page, or even playing a game, the mouse (pointer) gets locked out and i can't move it, and it is really annoying for the games i play. When i walk on a game, with W, it doesn't allow me to move the mouse either, just do "one" action.
Anyone got a clue with this? ANY help is appreciated.

I've been using Windows 8 for months and not had any problem like that at all. If anything I've had less problems.

I got a clue! Sounds like "disable while typing" to stop you rubbing your palm over the touch pad while typing. ~ I just use disable touch pad when mouse is attached.
If this does not help, look for something similar in and custom driver apps.

Sounds more like an issue of the manufacturers drivers than windows 8.

Sounds like Windows, or your Touchpad's driver/utility has been set to "disable while typing".

To check/adjust the (generic) Mouse settings in Windows 8:

In Metro Start, Click on Control Panel tile.
Now click on More Settings option from left side menu.
Old Control Panel Window will open. In Old Control Panel Window search for Mouse settings and click on Change Mouse Settings option from the search results.
Mouse Properties window will pop up.
    Make adjustments as you'd like.

If you installed an Acer or another 3rd party driver, and they have not just added/replaced tabs and options on that screen, then you may have to check with them for specific instruction.
