I've been piecing together a portfolio over the last couple of weeks, which consists of userlookups, guild layouts, petpages, and the like. I plan to begin selling layouts at the beginning of the new year. If you were an active ACer 3-5 years ago, you may have seen my examples under my old Neopets username -- if not, I'll get that portfolio finished asap =]
What would really help boost the sales (and prices!) of userlookups especially, is a decent shot at the userlookup spotlight. Being lazy, I've never entered that often during my active Neopets days -- and so unfortunately, I cannot claim to have won the userlookup spotlight at any time during my Neopian life...though I did win the gallery spotlight last year. ;D
Here is where I'm requesting a favour ^_^ I figured I'd be nice and help a few lovely friends along the way -- I will be making 6-10 userlookup layouts that I'd like you guys to enter the spotlight with once a week either until you win, or until the end of January 2013. These userlookups will be
free, you'll have full rights to do with them as you please (except the rule is that you must enter the spotlight as I've already mentioned), and your entry will
not be revealed in my portfolio (so no need to worry about your main account being revealed!). The only issue is that I'll know which account you'll have entered with, but I don't plan to tell anyone anyway.I will not require access to your account in any way, so no worries there either.
The reason for this project is to figure out sort of success rate, price, and perhaps popularity of a particular style. Along the way, you may receive the userlookup spotlight trophy, a NP prize (I think prizes are given out, right?), and my eternal gratitude. :3
I originally planned to enter on accounts I've acquired over the last couple of years, but I'd really like to give some active Neopians a chance. I'd prefer to give these userlookups to people that have worked hard on their account and would like to potentially get a new trophy, but anyone is welcome to try regardless.
