    Help with a calculus problem :D

    y = ln[(e^−x) + (xe^−x)] <--- find y prime

    Yurp that's it. Will +rep if the answer is correct (I can check it since the HW is online, it will tell me whether or not I get it right, I have 5 tries).

    Appreciate it ^.^

    y'={-x}/{1+x} MATH IS EXTREMELY RUSTY!! But since you have 5 tries, try that lol.

    You can also try inputting problems like this into (you need an account to see links). Your problem, for instance, could be put in as d/dx ln[(e^−x) + (x*e^−x)] (same as finding y'). It'll show you step-by-step solutions.

    That is amazing!
    I could have used that when I took calculus!
    I feel for anybody in calc and beyond. I had to take a few classes after calc since I took ap calc bc in high school. So done with math LOL
    What's my definition of success?
    Creating something no one else can
    Being brave enough to dream big
    Grindin' when you're told to just quit
    Giving more when you got nothin' left
