    i hate paypal

    so much

i'm just going to rant about it here

like... i've never CB'd anyone in my LIFE (i don't even know how... like wtf how would that even work) ...yet EVERY TIME i sell something to someone (not on here) i get CB'd and end up having to pay more money to unblock my account. I'm travelling a lot more lately around my province and so if i ever send someone a massive amount of money (~100$) from a location other than my home IP... i get limited. it feels like paypal just wants more and more and more of my info. it's actually retarded and i hate them so much. i'm tired of wasting time on them.

I used WU for the first time last week to send money... and I swear I have NO idea why more people don't use WU. It was so fast and easy. I was hesitant at first because I was like "well how does this work?" but I literally found it 100x easier and faster than paypal. It takes like 8 business days to deposit money from my bank account into my paypal account. It's bullshit. Western Union took like... 20 minutes and I was done.

I swear more people need to use WU because paypal is shit and i hate it (and I used to be a huge paypal advocate). I don't even have the energy to do a non-WU transaction anymore.

Paypal ended up attached to my savings account instead of my checking so I spent $15 and ended up getting $70 in fees from my bank because I didn't have money in my savings
    So that was fun.

Paypal is a bunch of assholes. :K As soon as I get my account unlimited, I'm closing it and NEVER letting them have my real info again. Fuck them.

Yeah Paypal does suck. The only thing they have going for them is their big name. I have read so many horror stories about them and it's terrible. It's possible to get screwed over as both a seller and buyer.

    I couldn't agree more!
Western union is just so easy and streamlined.
Yes it is a little more expensive because of the fees... but you pay fees on paypal too.
You can get around paypal fees, but it's better to just pay them since you will get fucked in the end anyway x.x

About a year ago I wanna say, I tried to get everyone to switch to another payment company, but they changed a bunch of their policies so people in the US can no longer make accounts. But other than that, they were pretty good.
We should try to find a different company, and start switching over to that.

What I used to do was have selling threads up, and have one price for paypal, and then a different price for WU/alertpay(a cheaper price ofc).

Can you do WU stuff online? Or is it strictly having to go to a place to transfer money?

You can transfer money to someone online.
(you need an account to see links)

The only time I need to do stuff in person is to pick up money.

Ah, so I can use it to send it. Good. So maybe if I ever want to buy something and they want WU, I can at least do it that way.

    I just won't use it to sell stuff because there isn't a WU where I live. D;

I know there are people who can accept WU payments and transfer to you via paypal.
