Hah turns out it wasn't even a hacker. Always some douche out there trying to take credit for doing absolutely nothing.
Godaddys service just sucks soooooo bad that they themselves took down everything. As quoted by their chief executive Scott Wagner "internal network events" corrupted their router data tables. "It was not a 'hack' and it was not a denial of service attack". (you need an account to see links)
Godaddy should of just gone with it. "Yeah we got hacked. Everyone gets hacked. Even the CIA!"
rather than admitting they took down millions of websites due to "internal network events". lulz
Every single hosting I've used dreamhost, godaddy, A2, hostgator, 1and1... all of them have been hacked. I'd rather go with the one that at least has there shit together, good service, and just patches any security hole that pops up like everyone else.
True they could be lieing, but I think that would just make anon hack them all over again to prove them wrong.
LOL, some of the questions on this thread are so hilarious...
Also, that's actually quite interesting, considering the huge number of domains registered or hosted on GoDaddy.
