Travelled home after being at parent's for Christmas, it was a three hour drive. I'm so mentally drained from Christmas I'm looking forward to just chilling this afternoon

I finally beat the Pokemon S/V Indigo Disk DLC and finished all the post-game stuff.

Caught all the legendaries in luxury balls after about 999999 attempts, because they just did NOT want to stay in those balls. Now I'm just waiting for the Jan 11 epilogue and doing more BBQs to grind rare candies and max out my legendaries' levels...

It was pretty quiet, took care of a small order of groceries, started filling my indigo disk dex, and inked a pen for the first time in a little while

It's the awkward stage between xmas and new years where idk what day it is, idk what time its meant to be, I'm up til 4am sleeping til midday, and I've eaten way too much cheese and leftovers lmao

I feel you. I feel like I'm burnt out from the christmas celebrations while also hardcore missing the family members who were in town. Not sure if I'm relieved or disappointed I have no New Year's plans.

I'm so bored, for the first time in a very long time.
The background: On Christmas Day, my husband took our daughters to visit his family about 400 km away. They will be back tomorrow in the course of the day.
I stayed at home with the dogs, the first time I've been home alone in 15 years. The first 2 days were quite nice, the peace and quiet, doing what I want, just having to look after myself (and the dogs of course). But now I miss them soooo much. I can hardly wait for tomorrow.
